ABOUT THE ALLEN BODY GROUP
The Allen Body Group appreciates the body's potential - to communicate, to promote health, to continually improve. Eltesia, the training system developed by Allen Body Group founder Malinda Allen, develops power, suppleness, subtlety, and versatility. Advanced movers trained under this system can be either raw or refined, purely technical or deeply instinctual - and very very strong. Private training is available for all levels.
The company maintains a revolving
roster of guest star artists and performers from companies as diverse
as Pilobolus Dance Theater, Blue Man Group, De La Guarda, and STOMP.
The company engages in live performance, film and video projects, and
integrative theater.
Each artist who participates in Allen Body Group projects is a multi-talented individual
whose unique emotional intensity, intelligence, and distinctive movement
abilities are central to the power of the Body Group's performances.
